I thought I knew a lot about the subject, but this book brought me to a new level of understanding beneficial bacteria and how they positively influence even the most common maladies many people are afflicted with today. A "must read" for all walks of life and a truly compelling book.

This book explains the critical importance of bacteria to our health and well-being. In language that is easy to understand, the authors explain how important intestinal bacteria are to our immunity, our nutritional status and our overall health. With so many people at risk for disease and distress, this book is a must-read for prevention and optimizing health.

I used these when running (since they are non-cotton and have a lot of cushioning) but they're great for all occasions. I now wear them regularly. Highly recommended product and the seller offered great service as well.

These are the best running socks I've ever used, I love them, they never give me blisters and stay in place, dry quickly, and last for years.

My absolute favorite. They are tight and snug so they don't cause uncomfortable shifting or friction during an intense run. Also ventilated so your feet never feel like they're on fire (as with cotton socks). Try them to see the difference... Also the seller was really fast. Thanks a lot!!

The titles in 'A Class of Their Own' series provide excellent surveys for libraries interested in the six major classifications of living organisms based on the latest scientific data. Judy Wearing's BACTERIA surveys staph, strep and other bacteria while her FUNGI covers mushrooms, toadstools, molds and others, Shar Levine and Leslie Johnstone's ANIMALS surveys mammals, birds, reptiles and other animals and their PLANTS surveys flowering plants, ferns and other plants; David M. Barker's ARCHAEA covers salt-lovers and other types of archaeans, and Rona Arato's PROTISTS tells of algae and amoebas and other protists. All are perfect for elementary reports.

The cute design lured me in - alas, none of the pieces actually fit the phone. Poor quality item especially for the price.

>indicates the presence of dangerous Coliform and E. Coli bacteria
Thats what the description reads. I believe it should say Coliform OR E. Coli bacteria - because the directions simply say if you have less than 5 colonies it is probably safe and if more you should filter or take the optional $30 lab test (plus overnight postage).

The way I see it only way to know which you have (coliform or E coli) is to send it in - so that is a VERY misleading statement.

For those of you expecting 'professional' - sorry. It just shows you that you have stuff. After studying this subject I know that there are dangerous coliform, and benign coliform. Again - only by sending it in can you tell (maybe) - and again the wording is vague which may be misleading:
>Optional lab analysis is available, which identifies the exact count and type of bacteria present.

Type of bacteria? The lab I finally ended up using said there are too many type of coliforms, so I suspect this means it will tell you if it is E coli or ANY of hundreds of coliforms - I didnt bother calling to verify. I cant bother with a company that cant be straight up front.

If you are OK with just knowing if there is ANYTHING in the water - go for it. It does that.
